LinkedIn Learning is a 24/7 self-learning platform that offers over 20,000 online courses across business, technology, and creative skills. Taught by industry experts, these courses are designed to support both personal and professional growth.

EdUHK has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide staff and students with unlimited access to this extensive library of online training resources. To maximise this opportunity, we are excited to introduce the EdUHK LinkedIn Ambassador Programme. This initiative allows students to advocate for LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning within EdUHK, while developing valuable digital skills, leadership potential, and enhanced networking opportunities.

CEIE is looking for passionate and proactive EdUHK students who:

• Have a strong interest in emerging market trends, digital literacy, and skill development.
• Are enthusiastic about promotion, digital marketing, event management, and creative design.
• Bring innovative ideas and excel in execution.

CEIE is now recruiting 20 to 25 students eager to advance their digital literacy and serve as LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning representatives within the EdUHK community.

As a LinkedIn Ambassador, you will enjoy:

1. Intensive Training & LinkedIn Headquarters Visit

• Complete a learning path in digital literacy, event management, and customer service at LinkedIn Learning.
• Earn a certification in digital literacy.
• Visit LinkedIn’s Hong Kong Headquarters.

2. Leadership & Event Development

• Develop leadership skills by managing digital marketing campaigns and coordinating events, such as the LinkedIn Learning Booth at EdUHK.
• Earn i-Work hours as part of your contribution.

3. Networking Opportunities

• Connect with fellow students, faculty, and professionals to expand your professional network, paving the way for future career opportunities.

4. Boost Resume & LinkedIn Profile

• Enhance your resume and LinkedIn profile with valuable experience showcasing leadership, lifelong learning, and digital literacy expertise.
• Top ambassadors will receive endorsements on their LinkedIn profiles.

As an EdUHK LinkedIn Ambassador, you will have to:

• Attend Training & LinkedIn Visit
  • Participate in compulsory training workshops and a company visit to LinkedIn Hong Kong, earning certification in digital literacy.
• Promote LinkedIn Learning Initiatives
  • Advocate for the “Top Learner @ LinkedIn Learning” Incentive Programme, encouraging peers to participate.
  • Be responsible for LinkedIn Learning recommended courses series.
  • Initiate campaign(s) to cultivate a LinkedIn culture at EdUHK, including running a LinkedIn Learning Booth on campus.
• Content Creation
  • Develop content for the CEIE Instagram and LinkedIn pages.
  • Share updates on your personal LinkedIn profile.
• Conduct Focus Groups & Surveys
  • Lead focus groups and surveys to gather feedback, improving the ambassador programme and fostering a LinkedIn culture at EdUHK.
• Complete LinkedIn Learning Courses
  • Sharpen your skills in areas like digital marketing, event management, and customer service by finishing selected LinkedIn Learning courses.

As a LinkedIn Ambassador, you will be able to:

• Develop the ability to think creatively, communicate effectively, and solve problems in addressing challenges relevant to their future professional careers or daily life.
• Demonstrate essential entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, such as digital literacy, leadership, and event management, which are critical for success in the 21st century.
• Consolidate and deepen their learning by applying acquired knowledge and skills through hands-on activities like digital marketing campaigns, event coordination, and community engagement.
• Recognise the importance of continuous learning and self-development, and develop the ability to plan and manage their own learning journey to achieve personal and professional goals.

• ELAT hours will be counted for all training attended as well as voluntary work in preparation and organisation of events
• i-Work hours for paid work required in executing the events
• Top ambassadors will receive endorsements on their LinkedIn profiles.
• A certificate of appreciation will be issued to EdUHK LinkedIn Ambassadors with active participation by the end of December
